Sip and savor our award winning wines and the view from our aerie terraces overlooking the Santa Lucia Mountains of Paso Robles. We specialize in both red and white Bordeaux and Rhone varietals and blends. Our Estate vineyard is three years into a four year plan to become an Organically Certified Vineyard. With our modest production, expansive vineyard acreage, and state-of-the-art gravity flow winery, we are producing amazing wines that are garnering the attention of critics and consumers alike. Eagle Castle winery prides itself in its ability to produce award winning and delicious Paso Robles wines. Paso Robles, known for its Zinfandel and Rhone varieties, suites Eagle Castle winery. Our Royal Red blend, a blend of Syrah and Merlot, and our Trinity blend, a blend of Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet, present an excellent example of the potential of Paso Robles wines. Paso Robles wines tend to present soft velvety characters juxtaposed with dark color and great structure. Our wines are no exception.
Our wines have garnered many accolaids including a Best of Show for our 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2008 Syrah Rosé, Best of Region for the 2004 Syrah Rosé, Best of Class for the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2007 Royal Red, Best of California for the 2007 Royal Red as well as receiving notable acclaim such as "the best Paso Robles Viognier I've had in recent memory." by Wine Enthusiast for our 2007 Viognier.
