Pop a cork and let's celebrate! The 2002 Eagle Castle Winery Cabernet Sauvignon just took Best In Class at the 2008 Pacific Rim International Wine Competition! Purchase it here!

Eagle Castle Winery in Paso Robles built by Sundance Enterprises, Inc. has just been awarded  structure of the year for 2007!
Finished in May 2007, the building is concrete tilt-up construction and was a design/build project by Sundance owners Bob and Brenda Clouston, with lead foreman Charlie Johnson. Winery founders Gary and MaryLou Stemper, who accepted the award from The CA Concrete Assoc. at a ceremony at the Ritz Carlton, Pasadena on April 24th, say they are not surprised their building won, as they see people in awe at the beauty of the building when they visit the winery everyday. We are grateful for Bob and Brenda's ability to take a regular blue print and create something spectacular. Other structures who won for building excellence where: The Nokia theatre in LA, the Cathedral of Angels, Pasadena City Hall and the J. Paul Getty Museum.
"When we got the call that we had won, in the company of these other fantastic buildings, it was exciting and humbling", said Sundance owner Bob Clouston, "It was definitely a team effort. We just want people to have a good time and enjoy what we've built."
According to Gary Stemper, they definitely are, in droves!

Latest Releases!

It’s back, introducing the Eagle Castle 2007 Viognier! Swirl this Viognier and smell its fresh bouquet of Pineapple, Apricot and Honey, while admiring its sunset gold hues. Each glass carries a smooth and fruity introduction, with citrus notes. Tropical fruit fills the mid-palate and finishes clean and refreshing with a touch of orange zest. Enjoy with Capri salads or vinaigrettes, smooth cheeses, as well as fruit dishes.

We've just released the Eagle Castle 2004 Zinfandel! This Zin is BIG from start to finish! Cumin, Chili, and Cracked Pepper fill the bouquet of this intense Zinfandel. A jammy introduction leads to a medium weight mid-palette with a gentle spiciness. The finish is warm, big, smooth and round. Enjoy with sharp style cheeses such as Cheddar, Havarti, Parmesan or Asagio, or with mild curry dishes.
