Paso Robles Estate Vineyards
Eagle Castle Winery sits among the Santa Lucia Mountains in west Paso Robles. The winery itself is unique, in that it was built to replicate a European castle, complete with a moat. Gary Stemper, Eagle Castle’s founder, and a group of investors (a portion of which are Eagle Castle growers) founded Eagle Castle Winery in 1999.
Our Paso Robles Vineyards stretch as far East as Mill Road off of Highway 46 - East and as far West as our Winery's location on Anderson Rd and Highway 46 - West. These vineyards total over 750 acres producing fruit not only for Eagle Castl Winery, but also for some of the best known wineries in Paso Robles. With Eagle Castle's modest production we are able to "pick and choose" from a bounty of different Terroirs and Varietals to craft our Paso Robles wines from. Our specific energy recently has been focused on the 14- acre Estate Vineyard located at our Winery and Tasting Room.
This Estate Vineyard has been planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel and Syrah. We are currently 3 years into our 4 year plan to become an Organically certified vineyard.
